All About The Wonders Of SK Vision

In early 2000, Steven Kelly established SK Vision in the North West of UK, and then expanded his service company to a home automation London site.  It all started with Kelly’s interest in electronics during his years at Manchester University.  Now, his clientele includes celebrities and many VIPs.  The team is made up of a mix of contracted professionals, architects, interior designers, home developers, and construction companies.

SK Vision’s home automation systems are controllable by wireless connections at a central hub or inside each room.  Lighting, heat and air, Internet, phones, blinds and curtains, garages and gates, and security cameras are all parts of the basics that are usually requested for automation.  Smart lighting can be set up with variety on color, dimming, and timing both inside and outside the house.  The next stage up is home entertainment installation.  SK Vision can create any room to mimic a smaller version of a real cinematic theater complete with lighting, chairs, curtains, screen, and speakers.   Any of these options can be customized and have more options; for example, the big screen could be plasma, 3D, HD, LCD, or any combination of those.

Air, heating, and ventilation are vital to the home’s breathing.  Residents need to be comfortable in their own homes—this includes being able to control the temperatures for all seasons year round.  Wireless electronics can be automated by voice and or video intercommunicating with other displays in the home, and even with mobile devices around the world.  Voice and sound commands are applicable for other appliances such as lighting.  Multi-room sound and vision can link to a satellite, CD, DVD, mp3, and record players to be heard wherever the resident has a pair of speakers.  Outdoor speakers are installed with water and dust preventing protection.  Television sets and monitors that are in areas with heavy mist or condensation like a bathroom or near a hot tub will be proofed for water.  Residents that are fans of golfing can option to designate a space specific for tracks and indoor grass plots.  Theater quality projections and 5.1 sound can really mimic the ambiance of real golfing experience.

One of SK Vision’s best works is a reinvented Fulham town house that was installed with the newest cinematic experience.  The project took three months and the cost totaled to £25,000.  The company’s role was conceptualizing the overall design towards the specifics of the desired system.  Schedules were then made for cables and wiring the infrastructure of the change.  CAD designs were created to ensure precision during the final execution of the building.  The master bathroom ended up with an Aquavision television set that is waterproof, and a Sky Box.  The rest of the 5,000 square feet of the house includes a 55-inch plasma television in the living room and playroom.  The Multi-room audio system was chosen for this specific site, and each room has control over the sound.  A custom rack was built for the wiring of the entertainment equipment.

SK Vision is partnered with Happy Feet Floors, Armata home building, Wrenspire Projects Contractors, Baynham Couldridge developments, Advantage Basement Cellar, Landmass London designers and marketers, Signature Alexander Real Estate, Fightline Diet, and Life Sorted project management.  The company uses the following brands to wire their masterpieces with the highest quality:  AMX technologies, Nuvo Sound of Living, Crestron automated manufacturers, Denon hi-fi, Aquavision outdoor and weatherproofing technology, Bowers & Wilkins speaker engineering, Control 4 commercial technology, Vision HD, Current Audio, Stealth Acoustics, Niko illumination, iRoom, JVC, SCP, and Panasonic Corporation.
